Democracy
Democracy is, literally, rule by the people (from the Greek demos, "people," and kratos, "rule"). The methods by which this rule is exercised, and indeed the composition of "the people" are central to various definitions of democracy.
It seems that democracy sounds good for everyone. On one hand it gives a good feeling to average people. It makes them feel involved and gives them a sense of belonging. It also makes them feel that they have a voice, and they have representatives in the goverment. On the other hand it allows the more powerful people to make all major decisions and do real planning.
